By holding a nurturing and non-judgemental space where people feel comfortable to be themselves and freely express what is going on for them, Alison is able to support people to navigate through their thoughts, feelings and emotional reactions to the deeper underlying themes of where these originate from.
As everything is interconnected in our lives between work, family and our relationships, these tensions can often be traced back before the current situation we are dealing with to other experiences of emotional trauma that may on face value appear to be unrelated such as feelings of rejection, isolation, abandonment, loss of control, being bullied or manipulated, not feeling good enough or loved and adored by those around us.
By developing self-awareness of these underlying issues and how they can interfere with our current perceptions, beliefs, and ways of thinking, Alison's sessions empower people to 'join the dots' so to speak and realise how these recurring themes have been influencing the way they react or respond to a situation and thus the choices that they make which could be preventing them from moving forward.
